Romney Discusses Need to Cut Deficits

CSPAN

Last night, Governor Mitt Romney formally accepted his party’s nomination for President of the United States.  Along with sharing his personal story, he presented a plan to create more jobs, reduce the nation’s reliance on foreign energy, and the need to overhaul the education system.

Governor Romney also talked about how a Romney/Ryan administration would tackle the growing national debt.

“[Obama’s] trillion dollar deficits, they slow our economy, restrain employment, and cause wages to stall,” said Romney.

The Governor went on to say, “To assure every entrepreneur and every job creator that their investments in America will not vanish as have those in Greece, we will cut the deficit and put America on track to a balanced budget.”
