Sessions: Obama Plan “Financial Misrepresentation”

In the weekly GOP radio address, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) blasted President Barack Obama’s plans to pay off the national debt, reports the National Review.

Calling the President’s plan “one of the greatest financial misrepresentations ever made to the American people”, Sessions noted that Obama’s plan does not contain a surplus for over a decade’s worth of spending.  A surplus, of course, is necessary to balance the budget.

Sessions, the ranking Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, also attacked the Democratic Senate for repeatedly failing to produce a budget plan.
