Something Borrowed, Something Blue

It seems President Obama failed to address what most Americans really care about these days in his 15 minute inaugural speech, outlined similarly to the historic wedding advice commonly offered to a bride on her big day… “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”

Touching on his apologetically left views, Abraham Lincoln’s 1858 “House Divided” and his Gettysburg Address, and his defeated rival, Mitt Romney, President Obama failed to outline or address the outrageously low unemployment rates we currently face, the economy and our national deficit.

While it may be safe to say President Obama’s inaugural address was less than average with few (if any) extraordinary appraisals of his own, it will be interesting to see what the next four years have in store. What will we gain out of a Barack Obama who no longer faces re-election?
