Dems say Revenue, GOP says Taxes, Middleclass Groans “Not Again”

After reviewing the new budget, the only consensus among many is that the President is calling for more spending and an increase in revenue. Revenue to many is better known as taxes. Today’s National Review article states that the President and his 2014 budget “increases spending by $150 billion next year and wants an additional $1 trillion in new taxes over the next ten years.”

Even ABC News seemingly mocks some of the President’s proposed tax increases titling today’s article President Obama’s Weirdest New Taxes. The fact remains the same.  The government needs to focus on cutting spending and not finding ways to implement new taxes.
