Tuesday, White House insiders projected a gloomy outlook for the future of the 2013 debt, and they did not stop there. Insiders also believe that prospects for reduction of the national debt will only diminish in the coming years.  It appears that Congressman Paul Ryan and Senator Patty Murray are at an impasse. “We can’t even get an agreement in principle to begin talking about that right now,” Ryan stated.  Many agree that in spite of the existing potential for achieving some tax reform, little will be done to reform entitlement programs.  With the President’s new health care program set to take effect in 2014, one may wonder what impact this mammoth initiative will have on an already rapidly increasing debt.
