Bipartisan Immigration Reform Passes the Senate

At a time when politics could not be more divisive, a true effort is being made in the Senate. The Gang of 8, made up of Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), pulled together and created what could be landmark immigration reform.

However, the U.S. House has an uphill battle when it comes to immigration reform. Many are hoping House members will follow their Senate counterparts and leave partisan politics aside and come together.
