Senate Closer to Passing Key Immigration Reform

The Senate Gang of 8 are one step closer to immigration reform victory. Monday, in a 67 to 27 vote the Senate inched closer to an immigration reform bill that this nation has not seen since 1986. This bipartisan legislation is the first step in moving the reform bill ball down the court.

However, while the Senate seems to be moving forward their counterparts in the House are having a difficult time. Perhaps this recent vote will garner the momentum needed to get the House moving in the direction for real reform to pass.
