Obama Delays Employer Mandate Again
Here we go again. In a move leaving many scratching their heads, the Obama Administration has once again decided to delay the employer mandate. According to The Wall Street Journal, “the move came after employers pressured the Obama administration to peel back the law’s insurance requirements. Some firms had trimmed workers’ hours to below 30 hours a week to avoid paying a penalty if they didn’t offer insurance.” While many see this as a victory for businesses, countless others wonder when individuals will catch the same break.
