The Tale of Four Blue States, Half A Billion Dollars, And ObamaCare Exchanges That Continue to Fail

Massachusetts, Oregon, Nevada, and Maryland – all four states endorsed Obama; all four states embraced the new health care law; all four states’ exchanges continue to fail. According to a recent Politico article, “the federal government is caught between writing still more exorbitant checks to give them a second chance at creating viable exchanges of their own or, for a lesser although not inexpensive sum, adding still more states to HealthCare.gov. The federal system is already serving 36 states, far more than originally anticipated.”  America’s pocketbook continues to be drained by the current administration’s attempts to plug the endless holes that are surfacing throughout the nation as states fail to integrate Obamacare mandates as originally envisioned.
