Greek banks and stock exchange will be closed all week, a sign of worsening economic conditions in their current financial crisis. A daily €60 limit on withdrawals will be implemented among the remaining cash machines across the country. “Speaking in a televised address on Sunday, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras urged calm and insisted bank deposits were safe.” He also blamed European partners and the European Central bank for forcing Greece’s hand.
