Aetna deals latest blow to Obamacare, pulls out of most markets

One of our nation’s largest health insurance providers, Aetna, has stated that they will be pulling out of most markets participating in Obamacare due to huge losses in the past quarter. On Monday they reported a loss of $200 million in the second quarter of 2016 alone.  Aetna will only remain in four of their original fifteen states with Obamacare marketplaces: Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, and Virginia. This leaves Anthem and Blue Cross/Blue Shield as the sole insurance providers in most Obamacare markets.
