The U.S. Economy Isn’t Growing as Quickly as People Thought

The U.S. economy is experiencing slow growth in 2016. As reported by the Bureau of Economic Analysis, a small 0.8% growth in the second quarter. But some will tell you even that number seems high. For many in the manufacturing and energy sectors, it feels as if America has surpassed the label of a ‘recession’ and has fallen deeper into a depression-like situation. However, individuals like Warren Buffett and even President Obama have reflected on the 2008 financial crisis as sending shock waves around the country. They believe that many are still traumatized by the destruction of┬áthe late 2000’s and have yet to bounce back from that experience.
