US job growth slows sharply in March after red-hot February

“Wage growth ticks up, while jobless rate holds at lowest level since 2000.” Following rapid gains in February, the US job growth slowed down substantially last month. The unemployment rate remained at its lowest level in 18 years, while wage growth rose. The US job growth underperformed its expected numbers in March. A prediction by a Reuters surgery forecasted 193,000 jobs while the actually yield was 103,000.
