Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) returned to the Gang of Six debt negotiations today. With him, he brought his “Back in Black” plan to make the necessary cuts in order to balance the budget. The senator fielded questions from reporters saying, “Here we have this great problem in front of us and what’s our answer? Punt because it’s politically palatable?
