Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) commented on CNN’s State of the Union saying the threat of a government shutdown was a “crisis manufactured by the Senate Majority Leader” Harry Reid. Senator Alexander went on to say that Republicans will support and vote for 100% of the money promised by President Obama for disaster relief. The hitch in the entire debate is $1.5 billion in appropriations for Democrat pet projects. Watch the full CNN interview.
