Martin Feldstein, a former Reagan Economic Advisor and currently a Professor of Economics at Harvard University, went on record about President Obama’s deficit reduction plan calling it “purely an election statement.” Professor Feldstein says the President’s proposed tax hikes on capital gains does nothing to spur investment in our economy.
