A Resolution to the Debt Problem?

Speaker John Boehner and House Republicans are calling for the first step in solving the national debt problem.  Their solution: demand any debt ceiling increase will be matched “dollar for dollar” by budget savings, Boehner told reporters.  May 19th is the predicted date when the government will hit the borrowing limit.  Hopefully, House Republicans can get their plan in place before then.
