1,400 days and the Senate still has yet to create a budget. U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, is looking to rectify the situation. Although her plan is still in the works, some are speculating there will be a 50/50 spilt between tax increases and spending cuts. While most agree Republicans will not go for this effort, Senator Murray is still determined to lead the charge by uniting the far left and the far right. Perhaps the Senator and Congressman Ryan should get together and compare notes.
