In Washington D.C. on Tuesday, both Congressman Ryan and Senator Murray unveiled their plans on the deficit regarding the energy industry. Both sides appeared to stick by their conventional party beliefs. Ryan’s plan encourages opening up additional land and ocean resources while also hitting the President on failed loan guarantees such as Solyndra. Senator Murray, on the other hand, echos the President’s stance by calling on Congress to eliminate tax breaks for oil companies.
