We have heard the speeches and listened to the promises and once again the politicians in Washington have missed the mark.
$7,450 is the amount by which health care insurance premiums will increase for a family of four. Rather than admit to a flawed bill, the President and politicians simply doubled down on their efforts to win over the American public; however, many are not buying the Washington rhetoric and many once fans of the bill are now calling it into question.
Factcheck.com calls the President, regarding the new legislation, “overly optimistic, misleading and, to some extent, contradicted by one of his own advisers.” All the while the Washington Post referred to the new legislation as containing, “significant omissions or exaggerations”. When are we going to learn Washington promises made may not be promises kept?
