According to CompleteColorado.com reports, Senator Udall’s office sent emails to the Colorado Division of Insurance to encourage the company to “downplay the number of insurance cancellations caused by the rollout of ObamaCare.” It is reported that 249,199 Colorado residents received a cancellation notice from their healthcare providers. Rather than addressing the problem leading to the high volume of cancellations, the Senator decided to change the definition of cancellation. Senator Udall’s strategy clearly leaves many to wonder which is more important – politics or policy.
