Texas Ranks Best State For Business

Six years back-to-back, Texas has ranked number one when it comes to best climate for businesses. A recent Breitbart article reports, after tracking the economic trends of each state since 1996, the Development Counsellors International’s (DCI) has once again awarded Texas with the ‘Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing’ award. The article goes on to state, “Texas was also recently ranked number one on Chief Executive magazine’s best states for business for the tenth year in a row. In that study, rankings were determined by surveying over 500 CEOs across the U.S. Business leaders were asked to grade states based on several categories including tax climates, regulations and red tape, and quality of living.”

It should be no surprise that a state offering an alluring combination of low taxes, limited government intervention, high quality of living and an acclaimed Balanced Budget Amendment can repeatedly walk away with such a coveted title. Let’s hope that Texas’ winning formula for success can inspire the remaining forty-nine states to do more than just sit up and take notice.
