Obamacare’s expansion of Medicaid has seen skyrocketing numbers of individuals signing up. In fact, the numbers are hundreds of thousands above what was predicted. This has left many GOP leaders in an “I told you so” moment, claiming that the financial burden of this increase is going to fall on taxpayers. “The expansion of Obamacare will cost our state taxpayers $5 billion,” Florida Gov. Rick Scott said in an interview with POLITICO last week, referring to the 10-year cost.”
