With a ruling this month on the healthcare law looming, Obama emphasizes a moral argument in favor of preserving the law. “The rugged individualism that defines America has always been bound by a set of shared values; an enduring sense that we are in this together,” Obama plans to say, according to the White House. “That’s we have an obligation to put ourselves in our neighbor’s shoes, and to see the common humanity in each other.” While the President continues to tout his plan, many who are paying more and receiving less are not experiencing his moral high ground.
