71% of Americans Think the U.S. Economy Is Rigged

Even as unemployment numbers continue to decrease, it appears that that average American’s financial concerns are as serious as ever. A recent national study conducted by Marketplace and Edison illustrates a worrisome trend among people of all races, socioeconomic conditions, and political leanings. Americans, at a time where many policymakers point to statistics to give them hope, feel just as economically depressed as they were in the height of the recession¬†and they have very little optimism about their financial futures.
