Drillers are returning to North Dakota’s Bakken shale region, signaling an expanding recovery of the oil and gas sector beyond Texas and Oklahoma where production is cheaper. The revival comes after a three-year bust for Watford City, North Dakota, which is home 6,400 people. The area is expected to get a boost from the June 1st start-up of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
