The stock market has rallied and soared since presidential election on Nov 8th, 2016. No events have seemed to discourage investors — not a series of devastating hurricanes, increased tension with North Korea, nor the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. The Dow Jones has set 62 record-high closings since the election of Donald J. Trump. The Dow has had two winning streaks this year lasting more than 10 days — a feat not seen since 1959.
