The U.S economy is continuing to show growth as consumer spending increased in the month of September. Consumer spending accounts for about two-thirds of U.S. economic output, which makes consumer spending catalyze the rest of the economy. These numbers are substantial when taking in account the possible damaging effects of the major hurricanes this quarter. Personal income also rose making this quarter an excellent one for the economy. Low inflation, low unemployment, and a strong stock market indicate that all the vital signs for a U.S economy are in check and healthy.
