Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway and JPMorgan Chase announced they seek to form an independent health care company to serve their employees. The goal is to form a simple, high quality health care for employees. These three companies have a great deal of influence in the US and this move could have major impacts for the health care market. This announcement comes after frustration with current health care inefficiencies. Jeff Bezos of Amazon said “Hard as it might be, reducing health care’s burden on the economy while improving outcomes for employees and their families would be worth the effort. Success is going to require talented experts, a beginner’s mind, and a long-term orientation.”
