US inflation climbs at fastest pace in more than a year in March

Last month, US inflation rose at the quickest rate in a year, satisfying the Federal Reserve’s prediction. The core consumer price index showed prices were 2.1% higher in March compared to this time last year. This does exclude volatile food and energy prices.
