Senate Leaders Plan Competing Bills to End Shutdown

Senators are set to present competing budget bills on Thursday in the hopes that it will bring an end to the shutdown and finish debates on a border wall. This marks the first time both parties in Congress have agreed to anything since the shutdown began on December 22nd. Senator Chuck Schumer believes this could relieve the pressure 800,000 federal workers are feeling as a result of the shutdown. Read more here.
