The newly passed appropriations bill has secured federal government funding through the end of the fiscal year in September. The industries that saw the highest increase in funding allocations were consistently health-related. The 2019 FDA budget increased by $269 million from their 2018 appropriations. Funding to combat the opioid crisis also saw an increase, as did digital health initiatives and food safety. To read more details click here.
