The new federal budget deal has been approved, meaning the Fiscal Year 2019 budget process is complete. One of the industries feeling relief from this new budget deal is our food industry. $333 billion in additional funding has been allocated to food safety agencies. Sonny Perdue, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, has stated, “We will be moving at full speed on all of our responsibilities, making good on our motto by doing right and feeding everyone.” You can read more here.
