Washington is flirting with a debt crisis. No one has a plan to stop it

Although blame has been thrown around in Washington over the federal budget deficit, no one seems to be ready for a real discussion on how to solve the problem. Decisions need to be made before September, when the “money runs out.” The closer politicians come to September without making moves leads to the high probability of over $100 billion in mandatory budget cuts.┬áSenate Appropriations Committee Chairman Richard Shelby stated, “This is the longest I remember I’ve ever seen something this important not be resolved.” Read more on the issue here.
