When the national debt climbing astronomically every day, it’s easy to think our debt problems have reached their peaks. However, this article outlines how our issues have only just begun. In fact, by 2025 “the mere interest payments on the national debt are set to eclipse defense spending” which currently totals almost $600 billion annually. This is roughly the equivalent of the average American family running up credit card debt that is equal to their mortgage payment. You can read more about the issue here.
