CONGRESS MUST PRESERVE PREMIUM TAX CREDITS BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR
Congress secured a historic victory for President Trump and the American people by passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), extending critical tax cuts and advancing many additional solutions to unleash greater prosperity.
But unless lawmakers act quickly, that victory could be undercut by a massive health care tax hike set to hit millions of hardworking Americans when premium tax credits (PTCs) they rely on to purchase affordable health insurance coverage expire at the end of this year.
“The One Big Beautiful Bill makes the 2017 tax cuts permanent. That’s good. But it does not address the tax credits which make health insurance premiums low for working Americans.”

— John McLaughlin, Trump Campaign Pollster
Millions of Americans are at risk of facing skyrocketing costs or losing their coverage entirely without immediate action.
Allowing PTCs to expire would result in:
This would be a staggering tax hike on Americans who did everything right: working hard, buying their own health coverage, and playing by the rules.
There’s still time to preserve the PTCs and avert the health care tax hike before it’s too late.
