Americans for a Balanced Budget awarded Congressman Patrick McHenry the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at a reception in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. McHenry, who served as Speaker Pro Tempore of the U.S. House in 2023, is the current Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.
This award was presented to celebrate McHenry’s effective conservative leadership throughout his tenure in Congress and was attended by congressional staff, business and political leaders from Washington, D.C. and North Carolina, as well as U.S. Senator Ted Budd, U.S. Congressman David Rouzer, and U.S.Congressman Richard Hudson, who chairs the National Republican Congressional Committee.
